A taste of concerts by this dedicated chamber-choir

The Du Maurier Festival Mass.

The first performance of Simon's complete Missa Alme Pater for Choir, Soloists, Trumpet, Organ and Congregation.


Haydn Missa Brevis Sancti Johannes de Deo and Mozart Ave Verum for celebrations of the mass in parish churches in Cornwall.

We commence each year with a concert (or series of concerts) devoted to particular themes:

In February 2007 we toured with a series of six concerts exploring Tudor music by Tallis and Shepherd together with contemporary music by Judith Weir and James Macmillan.

In January 2006 we sang Spanish and Mexican renaissance music by Victoria, Guerrero, Lobo and Padilla.

In January 2005 we performed a programme of Russian Orthodox music by Chesnokov, Pärt, Falik and Rachmaninov.

In January 2004 we performed the Quatre motets sur des thèmes Grégoriens op.10 by Duruflé. 

Later in each year we present a more substantial work or works, usually with orchestra and soloists:

In May 2006 we presented Handel's Alexander's Feast with soloists Lucinda Houghton, Andrew Wicks and Martin Elliott.

In May 2005 we performed a liturgical reconstruction of Mozart's Coronation Mass with soloists Shirley Tyack, Stephanie Thomas, Barry Farley and John Hobbs

In September 2004 we performed Vivalidi's Gloria together with the Great Organ Mass by Haydn.

In June 2003 we performed Handel's L'Allegro, Il Penseroso ed Il Moderato with soloists Kay Deeming, Gordon Pike and John Hobbs.
